b. Categorizing Wallets

Many crypto projects operate via Allocation Categories to define a usage purposes with pre-issued tokens. Here, we explain how users can map wallets via their allocation categories

Allocation Categories

Be advised that modification made to allocation categories will also affect columns necessary when registering categorized unlock schedules in the <Unlock Schedule> page

You can set allocation categories for your project. The following allocation categories are provided by default: (1) Ecosystem, (2) Investors, (3) Marketing, (4) Reserve, and (5) Team

And by Clicking Category Settings, you can manage listed categories on the Category Setting modal.

There will be an error message if the category fails to be registered during the add/modify process of the categories. The error cases are as follows in the table below.

Description

The name is already registered

In case the category is already registered.

Special characters are not allowed

In case special characters were used in the category name.

Set a minimum 2 characters

In case the category name has less than 2 characters.

Set a maximum 72 characters

In case the category name has more than 72 characters.

Mapping Wallets to Categories

You can set allocation categories for your wallets. Each wallet can be mapped with one category while a category can be mapped with multiple wallets. You can simply utilize the dropdown in the tokenomics wallet page and also in the <Tokenomics Wallet Detail> page

(1) search a category (2) delete a category (3) modify a category (4) sort by wallet count
